44-46 Main St. Ornate wooden bay with carved sunburst and lattice-work in gable; stamped metal panel with floral design, bottom of bay. Brickwork includes corbelling and carved rope molding and sandstone trim; stained glass panels; mixture of Queen Anne & Romanesque styles of 1888. Taylor – a bachelor and a founder of Waterworks, lived on 2nd floor. Hardware stores longest 1st floor occupant.
